PLL 2.0 SAM Completion Criteria

Students must reach the designated criteria within their assigned Student Activity Modules (SAMs) for the activity to be considered complete. 


95 Phonics Lesson Library 2.0  

 

If your district has the 95 Literacy Intervention System™ (LIS) and 95 Phonics Lesson Library 2.0 (PLL 2.0) enabled in the One95 platform, SAMs will be available. 

 

Contact your main district contact to learn more about PLL 2.0. 


Completing SAMs 

 


SAMs are considered complete if the following criteria are met. 


Phonics Chips 

 

The Phonics Chips SAM is considered complete if students reset the board twice, meaning they built at least two words.

 


Sort Words 

 

The Sort Words SAM is considered complete if students sort at least half of the words correctly across all four sets.
 


Read Accurately 

 

The Read Accurately SAM is considered complete if students view 10 words.



Read Fluently 

Days 2-3 

 

On Days 2-3, the Read Fluently SAM is considered complete if students read one page of prompts (i.e., words or phrases).



Day 4 

 

On Day 4, the Read Fluently SAM is considered complete if students read two pages of prompts (i.e., sentences). 

 


Transfer to Text 

Day 1 


On Day 1, the Transfer to Text SAM is considered complete if students highlight all pattern words in the passage correctly.  

 


Day 2 

 

On Day 2, the Transfer to Text SAM is considered complete if students reach section 3 of the passage. 

 


Days 3-4 

 

On Days 3-4, the Transfer to Text SAM is considered complete if students reach section 4 of the passage. 



Day 5 

 

On Day 5, the Transfer to Text SAM is considered complete if students reach section 6 of the passage (i.e., the last section). 



Respond to Reading 

 

Multiple-Choice Questions 

 

The Respond to Reading SAM is considered complete if students answer both multiple-choice questions correctly. 

 


This activity occurs on Day 5 of the Basic and Advanced levels, and Day 5 of the Multisyllable level, where the Respond to Reading SAM occurs once in the lesson. 


Written-Response Questions 

 

The Respond to Reading SAM is considered complete if students progress through the written-response question(s) and reach the reward screen. 



This activity occurs on Days 4 and 5 of the Multisyllable level, where the Respond to Reading SAM occurs twice in the lesson.
