Students can access their assigned Student Activity Modules (SAMs) from the One95™ student flipbook at any time.

Student Login

If your district has the 95 Literacy Intervention System™ (LIS) and 95 Phonics Lesson Library™ 2.0 (PLL 2.0) enabled in the One95 platform, PLL 2.0 offers web-based SAMs, meaning students will access their experiences online using the browser available on their digital devices.

No app download is required.

Device Requirements

The student flipbook supports Chromebooks, iPads, Mac computers, and Windows computers. Mobile phone functionality is not supported.

It is advisable to use Google Chrome and Safari web browsers.

Logging In

One95 provides single sign-on (SSO) capabilities to streamline the login process.

To access SAMs, students will start by logging in via their district’s rostering platform, meaning they will sign in to Clever, ClassLink, Google Classroom, or a supported rostering platform.

Once logged in, students will select the One95 Literacy Platform tile from their rostering platform dashboard.

Students will be authenticated into One95 via SSO and arrive at the student flipbook, ready for practice.

Student Flipbook

The student flipbook houses students' assigned SAMs.

Subskills will be dynamically presented on the flipbook homepage as they are assigned and unassigned.

Flipbook Tiles

Tiles represent the activity content available in the student flipbook.

Subskill Tiles

The student’s assigned subskills are represented as tiles.

For example, the 2.1 tile represents the Subskill 2.1 activities.

Tiles are sorted numerically in ascending subskill order.

Students will select the subskill tiles to launch their practice activities.

Sortegories™ Tiles

If your district has Sortegories enabled in the One95 platform, the flipbook homepage will be divided into two sections: Phonics Lesson Library and Sortegories.

Students access their assigned PLL 2.0 and Sortegories activities from each section, respectively.

To learn more about navigating Sortegories in the student flipbook, reference our article on Sortegories™ Student Experience

Keypad Icon

The blue keypad icon at the bottom of the flipbook homepage allows students to input the assessor’s six-digit code to connect to the digital Phonics Screener for Intervention (PSI) or PLL end-of-unit assessments.

Note: Students can also connect to digital assessments at https://student.one95.app.

Student Practice

After selecting a subskill tile from the flipbook homepage, the day-by-day breakdown will be displayed.

Students will select a day tile to view the SAMs related to each lesson day.

SAMs will be displayed as tiles.

There are six different SAM types:

  • Phonics Chips
  • Sort Words
  • Read Accurately
  • Read Fluently
  • Transfer to Text
  • Respond to Reading

Depending on the level, lesson, day, and discretion to utilize the digital activities in place of the physical materials, students may practice their learning using two to five SAMs daily.

Students will select a SAM tile to open the activity

Clicking START launches the activity in preparation for the “I Do,” “We Do,” or “You Do” stages of the lesson.

To learn more about navigating SAMs, reference our article on PLL 2.0 Student Activity Modules.

Incomplete Attempts

SAMs are considered incomplete if students do not meet the designated completion criteria.

To ensure that students’ activity completion is captured, the home icon at the bottom of each SAM’s menu should only be selected once practice time is over. Students' progress is not saved if activities are closed before the completion criteria are met.

After incomplete attempts, the activity status will be recorded as opened but not completed. The SAM will appear navy when viewing the expanded subskill columns or students’ skill summary within the Assign Student Activities page.

The session dates and duration related to incomplete attempts will be surfaced within each student’s skill summary for educator visibility.

Completed Attempts

SAMs are considered complete if students meet the designated completion criteria.

Depending on the SAM, students may arrive at a result or reward screen once they have fully completed an activity. The completion milestone may precede the result or reward screen.

After completing an attempt, the activity status will be recorded as completed, meaning the SAM will appear green when viewing the expanded subskill columns or students’ skill summary within the Assign Student Activities page.

The session dates and duration related to completed attempts will be surfaced within each student’s skill summary for educator visibility.
