The Settings page’s Environment tab controls district-wide defaults for 95 Literacy Intervention System™ (LIS) and Sortegories™ features. Note that these parameters do not affect 95 Percent Group resources within the One95 platform.
 

The Environment tab is a placeholder for districts without access to the LIS and Sortegories.  

 

One95 Administrators have exclusive access to the Settings page, where platform settings are configured. Access the Environment tab by selecting Settings from the navigation panel and clicking Environment in the menu at the top of the page.



1. Student Avatars 

 

Student avatars can be displayed as initials or profile pictures within the LIS.  



Note: Profile picture functionality is currently unavailable.


Click on the Use their Initials or Allow Photos tiles to set the student avatar display. 

 

Click Save once complete. 

 

2. Audio Recordings 

 

Audio recordings enable educators to replay student audio and score digital diagnostic assessments more accurately.  

 


Once the assessment is saved, recordings will be available for playback alongside the student’s assessment data.  

 

Click the Yes, allow teachers to choose to record sessions. or No, do not allow teachers to record sessions. tiles to allow or restrict assessors’ ability to record student diagnostics.  

 

Click Save once complete.

3. Report Exports


The Students page facilitates the export of students’ assessment data via CSV and PDF downloadable reports.



Click on the Yes, allow users to export student reports to local computers. or Nodo not allow users to export student reports to local computers. tiles to allow or restrict users’ ability to export student reports. 

 

By default, the ability to export student reports is disabled. Once enabled, the Export button will be visible on the Students page for all users. 

 

Click Save once complete.

4. Sortegories Kindergarten Activities


Sortegories levels target the skills students need based on their individual performance data from core instruction, such as the 95 Phonics Core Program® (PCP). 

 

Level A is frequently used across kindergarten classrooms. Typically, only the first activity row of each module (i.e., Row 1) is appropriate, as Rows 2 and 3 feature more advanced content.  

 

 




Click on the Yes, disable Sortegories row 2 an3 activities in Level A or No, don’t disable Sortegories row 2 and 3 activities in Level A tiles to allow or restrict kindergarten students’ ability to view Rows 2 and 3. 

 

One95 Administrators must specify their district’s grade used for kindergarten in the Specify Grade Level drop-down that populates below the tiles.  

 

Note: The available grades are synchronized with your district’s rostering platform. 

 

By default, all students can view all nine activities in each Level A module. Once enabled, students in the specified grade will only see the Row 1 activities in their flipbooks. 



Click SAVE once complete. 


5. Intervention Cycle Weeks 

 

Enter the number of weeks in an intervention cycle in the How many weeks in an intervention cycle? field.  


This field calculates the weeks each student may be involved in Tier 2 intervention on the Student Details page according to your district's preferred multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) standard intervention period. It is advisable to follow a three-week (i.e., 14-17 day) intervention cycle.    

 

Click Save once complete.

6. Concurrent Groups Maximum 

 

Enter the maximum number of concurrent groups for each school in the district in the What is the maximum amount of concurrent groups? field. 

 

This field determines the best practice maximum for simultaneous group management within the Groups page. It can be overridden if needed.


Additionally, this field defaults into the Tech-Start automated grouping method, which suggests new Tier 2 intervention groups within the Groups page’s Intervention Plans tab.


Note: There is a maximum of 200 concurrent groups per school.

 

Click Save once complete.

 

7. Grouped Students Maximum (Tier 2)

 

Enter the maximum number of students for each Tier 2 group in the What is the maximum amount of students per Tier 2 Group? field. 


This field determines the best practice maximum for student Tier 2 group involvement within the Groups page. It can be overridden if needed.


Additionally, this field defaults into the Tech-Start automated grouping method, which suggests placing students in new Tier 2 intervention groups within the Groups page’s Intervention Plans tab.


Note: There is a maximum of 12 students per Tier 2 group.


Click Save once complete.

8. Grouped Students Maximum (Tier 3)

 

Enter the maximum number of students for each Tier 3 group in the What is the maximum amount of students per Tier 3 Group? field. 

 

This field determines the best practice maximum for student Tier 3 group involvement within the Groups page. It can be overridden as needed. 

 

Note: There is a maximum of 50 students per Tier 3 group.


Click Save once complete. 

 

9. Grouped Students Maximum (Classroom)

 

Enter the maximum number of students for each Classroom group in the What is the maximum amount of students per Classroom Group? field. 

 

This field determines the best practice maximum for student Classroom group involvement within the Groups page. It can be overridden as needed. 


Note: There is a maximum of 50 students per Classroom group. 

 

Click Save once complete.
