Educators can assign Sortegories™ modules, launch activity demonstrations, and track student progress in the One95™ platform.

Educator Login

Sortegories is a web-based practice tool, meaning educators will access their experience online using the browser available on their digital device. No app download is required.

Educators will manage module assignments, demo activities to their classroom, and review students’ score data from One95. One95 provides single sign-on (SSO) capabilities to streamline the login process.

To access these features, educators will start by logging in via their district’s rostering platform, meaning they will sign in to Clever, ClassLink, Google Classroom, or a supported rostering platform.

Once they are logged in, educators will navigate to https://one95.app or select the One95 Literacy Platform tile from their rostering platform dashboard if applicable.

After selecting from one of the available login options at https://one95.app or selecting the dashboard tile, they will be authenticated into One95 via SSO, eliminating the previous need to keep track of Sortegories usernames and passwords.

There are two key places for accessing Sortegories content in One95: the Assign Student Activities page and the Resources page.

  • The Assign Student Activities page is where module assignments are managed, and student performance data is surfaced.
  • The Resources page houses the Sortegories resource tile that launches activity demos for personal or classroom use and contains ancillary materials to support instruction.

Assign Student Activities Page

The Assign Student Activities page enables Sortegories module management and tracking student progress. This page is available to all Sortegories users by default.

Access the Assign Student Activities page by selecting Activities from the navigation panel.

Module Assignments

The Assign Student Activities page allows educators to assign activities to students within their area of responsibility, meaning students in their classroom, students across the entire school, or – if the 95 Literacy Intervention System™ (LIS) enabled – students in active groups they lead.

Educators can assign modules across three levels based on current classroom assessment data from their core instruction and school’s multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).

Modules can be assigned individually or to the whole class or group in bulk, and unassigned from one or many students at once. This page offers the flexibility of sending one student further ahead while continuing to work with another student if they need more time to demonstrate proficiency.

The Assign Student Activities page settings determine which activities are available for each student within the One95 student flipbook.

Student Progress

The Assign Student Activities page allows educators to view current and historical student activity progress. Data from each student’s flipbook is surfaced on this page in real time for immediate visibility.

Educators can go level by level to review module progress and quickly see who is achieving 80% or above via green color-coded squares in the 3x3 grid displayed for each student. Skill group averages are displayed next to the grid for a quick glance at students’ proficiency across the three main areas of literacy skill development.

Drill down into each student’s results for a reporting-type view of their performance by clicking their row within the module table. This robust summary enables educators to understand what is going on with each student and where they may need extra help.

Individual student and group results can be printed and shared with stakeholders who may not have access to One95, empowering educators to drive data-informed decisions.

Note: Group printing functionality is coming soon.

Resources Page

The Resources page contains all the early literacy resources available to each educator in the platform. This page is available to all One95 users by default.

Access the Resources page by selecting Resources from the navigation panel.

Sortegories Resource Tile

Sortegories is available as a resource tile in the My Resources section or carousel for Sortegories users by default.

By clicking the open icon, educators can launch the modules across all three levels.

This can be used to preview the activities ahead of assignments, project them on a screen during classroom instruction, or practice with groups of students on interactive whiteboards.

Similar to the ancillary materials accompanying various 95 Percent Group products, supplemental resources are available within the resource tile to support educators' understanding and implementation of Sortegories.

Note:

  • Score data will not be saved.
  • The student flipbook cannot be accessed from the resource tile.
